THE BEAUTIFUL HELPING THE GOOD
For our bottles, we wanted a basic, simple, and pure design, just like our formulations. In addition, all of the plastic that we use has a second life: it is 100% post-consumer recycled PET(a material that comes entirely from the separated collection of plastic waste).
Because we believe in a healthier and cleaner world.

ECO-DESIRABLE PACKAGING: ECOLOGICAL, REUSABLE, TRAVEL FRIENDLY.
Unique of its kind, the packaging of the Melting line products is compact, travel friendly and made of aluminum that is 100% and infinitely recyclable. Designed to best preserve the different formulations, resist the highest temperatures and avoid interaction with the product, the jar also has a recycled and recyclable plastic container inside. This allows you to give a second life to the jar and encourage the upcycling and creative reuse of materials. Once finished, the product can be used, for example, as a make-up remover pad holder or as a spice jar.
From eco-sustainable to eco-desirable.

CARBON FOOTPRINT
Through the “carbon footprint”, a measurement that gives total greenhouse gas emissions in CO2e, we can calculate the exact quantity of CO2 emissions released during the life-cycle of a product (creation/conversion/ production/transport/consumption/ end of life): this allows us to determine the actions and steps to take to reduce this footprint, and the total number of CO2 emissions. However, there is a natural threshold that we cannot go below. This is where the concept of “compensation” comes from, i.e. the possibility of neutralising our remaining emissions that cannot be reduced. In this way, a business process can be defined “carbon neutral”. Our aim is to measure our “carbon footprint”, during our production process, in order to organise all the measures required to further reduce our environmental impact, by both optimising our production processes and investing in environmental protection processes.
In fact, we have recently obtained the ISO 14064 Certification.
Eley is now proud to have become a zero-impact company, officially obtaining recognition as a Carbon Neutral Company.

SUSTAINABLE PLANT OIL
Eley is starting the process to comply with the RSPO standard for plant oils and is committed to measuring its Carbon Footprint, in order to implement all the measures required to reduce to a minimum greenhouse gas emissions in production processes.
In regard to procuring plant oils, Eley follows the guidelines promoted by the certifying body, RSPO, which recommends fighting the indiscriminate spread of palm oil, whose uncontrolled production is putting major rainforest areas at risk, as well as areas previously assigned to cultivating foodstuffs. The RSPO standard includes the use of certified and sustainable palm oil (CSPO), the preferred solution over substitution with other, lower-yielding plant oils, whose cultivation may lead to greater soil consumption.

PRODUCT CERTIFICATION
The entire All Care line is certified natural according to the Cosmos Natural standards, and is made with a high percentage of eco-friendly ingredients, including naturally-derived emollients.
COSMOS NATURAL
is a certification standard that sets out the requirements a cosmetic product must meet in order to be defined as natural.
The objective of Cosmos is the application of the principles of sustainable development during the whole production and supply chain, from the selection of raw materials to the distribution of the finished product. Respect for the consumer is at the centre of the entire creation and production process: the customer must be informed in a clear and transparent way to be able to become an active participant in sustainable development.
COMPANY CERTIFICATION
ELEY has been awarded ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 22716 (GMP – Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO 14064 (GHG- GreenHouse Gases) certification. This certification process has allowed us to improve our ability to meet some of the most demanding expectations of our customers, through improved monitoring of the company’s processes.
ISO 9001 (Quality Management System)
The aim of an ISO 9001 quality management system is to ensure that the product conforms with specific requirements. It therefore demonstrates that the company is able to consistently and thoroughly respond to the expectations of its customers, and that it will be able to significantly improve its efficiency in terms of organisation and product quality, minimising waste, preventing errors, and increasing productivity.
22716 (GMP – Good Manufacturing Practices)
The GMP are a set of regulations that describe the methods, equipment, resources, and management used to manufacture our final products to ensure that they adhere to the appropriate quality standards. These oversee both production and quality control, they apply to all cosmetic products, and they take into consideration all of the factors and activities that are involved in creating our cosmetic products.
ISO 14064 (GHG – GreenHouse Gases)
The ISO 14064 standard is composed of a family of standards aimed at the assessment, management and certification of greenhouse gas emissions by organizations. This certification gives us the opportunity to keep under control the so-called Greenhouse Gases that normally all organizations emit (even living beings are small emitters of greenhouse gases) and to put on track projects to reduce or cancel them above all in emerging countries.
